Results Are In!

I still have to see my specialist on February 3rd for his word and all the blood results but kids…I’m truly gobsmacked. In a good way. Not only were the results good, they were actually better than my scan in Arizona, and a better quality scan. The nurse called in her supervising nurse to take a look to be sure. My scan in May that diagnosed me showed me at stage 3 fatty liver and stage 4 fibrosis tipped to cirrhosis.

This scan shows me at stage 0 fatty liver and stage 0/1 fibrosis / scarring. I need to hear from my specialist exactly what this means. Did I heal all of the fibrosis that was not yet cirrhotic? What percent of liver function do I now have? I had only 15% liver function at the time of the first scan in May. I gotta think there’s a bit more now. Whatever it is I’m beyond happy. This was a labor of self care, a mindset shift of food being fuel and just plain old giving a damn. Also alot of luck and love. Celebrated with a healthy lunch in one of my favorite little hippy towns in Colorado. Then my sweetie took me shopping. This girl still needs more clothes. Thank you all so much for supporting me. Love, Sue. #healprydeliver #cirrhosis #foodismedicine #reversefattyliver #nashcirrhosis
