Creating Anew

This spoke to the artist in me and how I tend to view my life and view of the world around me. It helps to allow ourselves the indulgence in seeing things just hidden beyond that first glance to grow in any sort of way.

Balance and healing isn’t always related to what we consume via food.

“I saw the angel in the marble, and carved until I set him free.” - Michelangelo

Michelangelo was and still is a giant in the world of art, architecture, literature, and more. I love this quote because it's A both an art to envision an angel in a block of stone, and to slowly carve it out of the marble. As long as you keep working, piece by piece, the angel will appear and the vision becomes clear for the whole world to see.

There is a story about a boy who looked at the angel and asked Michelangelo: "How did you know it was in that block of stone?" Isn't that wonderful?

What is the vision you have for your own life, for other people, for the rest of the world?

Can you set it free, piece by piece?

Love, Sue
