Become The Observer In Your Own Life

One thing that has helped me to rise above my illness, amongst other things that required attention in my life was to detach myself emotionally from the issue at hand. To allow myself to view it as an observer, and formulate rational decisions on how to proceed in mending.

Each morning I sit and read various books, medical sites, poetry, my NOOM and yes, Facebook. This morning one friend posted something that struck me in particular…as he slam dunked the key that unlocked the secret to my own personal journey from darkness. I will just quote him here.

Thank you, ti my friend Tim Kaufman for your words this morning. Tim is a ray of sunshine each morning and I always look forward to his often deep and always positive take on life, despite his own battles.

“Rather than becoming the results of a hardship, we need to take control of our emotional interpretation of the situation. Thus allowing ourselves to grow spiritually. Allowing ourselves to make rational decisions without an emotional charge. Allowing ourselves to flourish in the face of turmoil. Allowing ourselves to be at peace and enjoying the happiness in our journeys! Have a wonderful day!😁”

And with those words he also shared this.

This resonates with my life entirely this year. In order to rise from my dark space I had to do just this, become a neutral observer in order to make sound decisions in my future and what it would look like. A walking testimony to this approach. I thank Tim for sharing, and for always bringing positive food for thought into the lives of others.

Be curious, be your own advocate, love the process and find your answers.

Love, Sue

A lot of Speedmaster fans have been waiting for the revival of the 321 movement in a stainless steel chronograph. On #SpeedyTuesday January 7, 2020, link Omega announced the first stainless steel version based on the 105.003 "Ed White" Speedmaster of June link 1965. However this "classic" Speedmaster was received with mixed reactions as it was highly priced and didn't come with a domed Hesalite glass link as did the 1960s tool watches.
